| A 19th Century solid mahogany twin pedestal dining table with additional leaf. This very well proportioned large antique dining table is made from a very good quality solid mahogany top with two d-ended sections with reeded edges each raised on turned tripod bases with reeded legs and ornate reeded brass castors whilst retaining its original leaf. Dating to circa 1880 the top has a fantastic grain and a beautiful mellow colour which has been restored using traditional methods and is held together with brass turning clips. A very substantial sized table as it is not only long but has a good depth which will be sure to entertain family and friends.
The leaf is 25 1/4 inches - 64cm long and the D-ends are 33 1/4 inches - 85.5cm long each |
