Description |
An exceptionally fine and rare mid 19th Century specimen table. This superb quality table of large proportions has a circular top adorned with a multitude of exotic woods laid in parquetry form with a burr walnut crossbanded edge. The top being able to tilt upwards to show off the wonderful craftsmanship to is full potential is raised on a decoratively carved walnut triform base with carved central pedestal and three cabriole shaped legs raised on castors. The condition is excellent having a beautiful original colour with warm tones. This is a very good quality rare piece of furniture that will attract collectors as well as any antique dealer and will make a fine addition to any home. |
