Description |
A good quality 19th century Victorian Dutch walnut silver table circa 1870.
This finely veneered burr walnut silver table has a quarter veneered top with shaped upstand above a cushion shaped frieze with single oak lined and hand cut dovetailed drawer retaining its original ornate brass Rococo style handles and escutcheon plate.
To each side there are solid oak pull out slides which would have been used for a pair of candelabras or candlesticks. With a beautiful faded colour this antique silver table stands on carved cabriole legs terminating on ball and claw feet.
Having a veneered back this table is able to stand freely within the room.
This Dutch silver table has been restored using traditional hand methods and will make a fine addition to any home.
