| A fine quality early 19th century mahogany card table of George II design.
Of superior form this quality mahogany card table has shaped round outset corners with a solid mahogany top and carved edge which opens to reveal a baized lined top having counter wells and candle stands. The mahogany frieze has a pull out oak lined drawer with the whole being raised on cabriole legs having carved knees to the fronts terminating on claw and ball feet.
The rear having a gateleg back leg which opens to support the top.
This antique card table is in excellent condition having been fully restored using traditional methods with the baize being in good condition.
Dating to 1820-30's this card table is excellent quality with a fantastic shape and colour. |
