| A Superb Quality 19th Century Walnut Open Bookcase / Bookshelves.
Of excellent form and proportions being constructed of finely figured Victorian walnut with ornate crisp carvings dating to circa 1850.
The recessed top having a removable simulated stone malachite insert boarded by a carved edge above a figured walnut frieze and mould. Having two adjustable walnut carved edged shelves flanked by superb carvings of foliate design finishing on an inverted shaped carved edge raised on beautifully carved floral feet.
The proportions and design of this bookcase are superb whilst having a wonderful patina and colour.
Offered in excellent condition having been wax restored using traditional methods this walnut open bookcase /bookshelves will make a fine addition to any home or study.
