| This good quality golden oak mid Victorian Captains chair has been upholstered in a light linen fabric with a darker grey contrast piping to give this antique chair a contemporary feel. The top rail is heavily stuffed for comfort when resting back and is split sectional with use of the contrast pipe, its supported by eight turned and fluted light oak columns and has a carved relief to each end. The Victorian captains chair has a comfortable linen seat that is raised on two delicately turned and fluted front legs and outswept rears legs all raised on brass castors. This chair is of a very good model that sits well and being in a faded light oak with the linen upholstery it gives an antique with a contemporary and unique feel. The Victorian Captains chair has been carefully restored using a traditional French polish and upholstery method and will look great in a antique or contemporary home. |
