| This elegant 1900’s walnut Bergere tub chair has an attractive shaped curved back sweeping down to its front slightly scrolled and curving back arms with the back and seat being fully caned. The Antique Bergere chair is standing on walnut cabriole legs with gilded shell on the knee ending on pad feet to the front which is supported with a burr walnut rail with a shaped apron and carved and gilded central shell motif, to the rear of the chair we have shaped walnut splayed legs. This antique chair is a very pretty piece that carefully restored by using a traditional French polish method and will be a fine addition to any home. |
