| The title on this fantastic work is 'Cometh the King' and was created by artist Huw Williams.
Huw is a fine artist 40 years of age born in North Wales UK., now residing in Perthshire, Scotland.
His work is dominated by the horse,
specifically stunning, striking Stallions showing their power and movement.
The work is large in scale, ranging from 5ft to 12ft, always in oils on canvas.Typically any individual piece can take from 2 to 6 weeks.
He has his work in the homes of many well known private clients and prestigious corporate collections, some of which are listed below.
Significant dates
1985 - Foundation Course in art at Wrexham College of Art.
1986 - 1989 - BA Hons degree in Fine Art from Newcastle-upon-Tyne University. 1st Class.
1990 - First solo show at Berwick House, Nothumberland.
1991- Second solo show at Berwick House, Northumberland.
1998 - Large commission for the Quorn hounds. Five bitch hounds commemorating the retirement of Huntsman Michael Farrin. Presented on his final day by HRH Prince Charles.
1999 - Short listed for the 'Not the Turner Prize', chaired by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber (the only equestrian painting ever to have been shortlisted at this date)
1999 - Work purchased by Royal Bank of Scotland collection for their new head office in Edinburgh.
2000 - First solo show with sponsors Lloyds TSB Bank at their head office in Edinburgh.
2001 - Second solo show with Lloyds TSB Bank at their head office in Edinburgh.
2004 - Commission of hounds for The Meynell Hunt and North Staffordshire Hunt respectively.
2005 - Work purchased by Roger Myers of Cafe Rouge.
2007 - Work purchased by The Prudential Bank collection.
2007 - Commissioned by Lloyds TSB Bank to produce large piece for corporate charity events ie Black Horse branding.
2011 – Work completed for King of Bahrain – new palace Manama.
2011 – Commissioned to produce 36ft piece for private residence.
