Fine Regency Period Mahogany Centre Table #2739

A superb 19th Century Regency period mahogany centre table on a finely carved rare and unusual base.

English, Circa 1825.

The circular flame mahogany book-match veneered tilt-top, raised upon a turned column with finely carved acanthus leaf base in addition to three scrolled supports, over a triform base, terminating on winged carved lion paw feet and recessed brass castors.

This well drawn table, offered in excellent condition, has acquired a superb natural colour and patination.

A fine example for any home or collection.
