Of excellent colour a Mid 20th century gilt metal wheat sheaf coffee or side table with circular glass top.

Italian or French circa 1950.

A well proportioned wheat sheaf table dating to the mid 20th Century which was a firm favourite of Coco Chanel. The base of the table is made with a gilt metal gathering of rope bound sheaf of wheat with gilded leaves and ears of corn having a circular glass top.

The patina and colouring of the gilt metal is of one of the best we have owned. 

Very decorative and can be used as either a coffee table or side table.
