19th Century Victorian Leather Upholstered Chesterfield Sofa. #2834

An exceptionally well drawn 19th century Victorian tufted tan / brown leather upholstered Chesterfield sofa, on solid rosewood turned legs.

English Circa 1860.

This extremely elegant Victorian chesterfield sofa stands at 8 feet wide, having over scrolled deep buttoned armrests with conforming scrolled back, with two feathered cushions seats. 

Unusual to find having solid turned rosewood legs to the front and rear, each retaining their original recessed brass castors. 

Having been fully restored using a premium leather which has then been hand dyed to a deep tan / chestnut colour using a traditional polishing method.

An imposing chesterfield sofa of wonderful proportions that is very comfortable having feather cushioned seats.
